I learned last week that Reckon Review has nominated my creative nonfiction piece “Family Rituals” for Sundress Publications’ Best of the Net in Nonfiction. The Best of the Net is an “awards-based anthology designed to provide a platform to writers and publishers who are building an online literary landscape that seeks to break free of traditional publishing.”
I’m grateful and delighted that the Reckon Review editors found something special about “Family Rituals.” It’s a favorite of mine, mainly because it features my Aunt Peggy, a kind and generous woman, who was an angel long before her time.
